SOLVED. Thriller or Horror about a deadly circus where the ‘lower’ class were made to participate in deadly stunts for the ‘higher’ classes entertainment it reminded me of the hunger games but more dark read maybe 2022. Spoilers ahead.

The country is split into two ‘classes’ and the main character is apart of the top class I think she is like an important politicians daughter and she hears about the circus via school and wants to go but her parents say no as it’s a horrible place to go but she sneaks off anyway and some how she gets involved in the circus and I think she was a wire walker? And I remember that all the circus people were the ‘lower class’ and all the ‘higher class’ people would watch them perform dangerous stunts which often got them killed like I remember one where twins I think were in this shark tank and they try to escape and one dies as she couldn’t unhook her chain and the other twin gets like super distraught and doesn’t talk again and also the main character was sharing a trailer with someone and also I remember the ring leader being a horrible man who has a pet monkey and later in the book there is like a love interest I think and they try to escape together and she gets locked in a cell and then I remember her having to climb through vents and her landing in a room where like the deceased circus employees like arms and stuff were in jars that were up for sale and she like smashed all the jars. Also I think the cover was like black with 4 skulls on each corner with like a red and gold pattern and black and white stripes on it . I would be so grateful if anyone knows what it’s called bc I have searched high and low on google for it and I really want my friend to read it thank you sm x
