I'm not a huge fan of Midsummer? Honestly, I'm just indifferent about it. I've never seen it performed though, which is the intended vehicle, so maybe that would be change my opinion. That being said - I've never seen the other two performed, but have still enjoyed (readability?)
Thanks for post! I'm not a Shakespearian expert, but I have "bothered" to learn and enjoy as a reader. I hope more do/will. It's a great education in itself.


Hamlet I reread just recently, and I don't think it holds up as well as some of his other work. On the other hand Hamlet's self-centered moodiness is a character trait that is still today easy to identify with when you're younger.
