Middle Grade/ YA Fantasy. Girl can write stuff down and make worlds by writing them. Ends in a cliffhanger. Spoilers below.

Ok so Ik it starts with a girl sitting at a desk writing and making a world before going inside it, remember something about a beach. I'm pretty sure there's something about her mom in there but I'm not too sure. She finds out she's a savant and can do all this other magic and she goes off to learn more about it. There's a guy that I think she might be romantic with, not too sure. I know it ends in him maybe betraying her and I think he runs off? Anyway it's a cliffhanger for sure. The cover is mostly white but has some blue whispy house thingy, kinda looks like the tajj mahal. The second book has a similar cover but red not blue.
