I don't know what year I read the book in, but I know I didn't have Goodreads then. It was between 2010-2017, I think?
The cover had some dark green on it.
It was a middle grade book about a group of girls that get transported into a fantasy land. They have powers in the fantasy land, I think. One of the girls is into nature, and her bedroom has jungle decals in it. One of the girls might be named something like Alyssa. Each one has a different "thing" - one into nature, maybe one into water? Maybe they have powers based on the elements?? I think one was into pink and fashion or something?
The way they got to a fantasy land was through a table. I think they fell through the table or something? They noticed it was strange because of magnets maybe????
Once in the fantasy land, I think they get split up. In the beginning, one girl is given painted beads to represent something. Maybe in an anklet or bracelet? I think it was the blue-themed girl.
There's a few other scenes in the fantasy world I remember: at one point, someone is trapped in quicksand. Near the end of the book, I think they're on a boat in a river. There have been a river dragon involved. I think there was also a scene where they were in some kind of garden that they couldn't get out of, and had to find an escape in the garden wall, like a hedge or stone wall?

Becca beat me to it!! Nice find, Becca– I remember this book, too, though I had forgotten about it until now. I remembered the quicksand very well, because the one girl's powers were tied to rhyming, and she couldn't think of a good one, haha.

Did anyone get this book through the mail? I don't have it anymore, unfortunately, but I swear it was given as some kind of free promotion or something. An entire book; kind of cool.
