The Wandering Cassowary My wife read this book over and over in the late 90s as a learning to read book. She recalls that there was an adult male MC who has some important feature with his head. Perhaps he was bald or had a funny hat or hair or something. This is all she can remember but we've asked all her family and they can't solve the mystery of "what's the name of that book?". Would love some input. We've tried many Google searches without success.

Erin Fencil | 27 comments A Funny Man by Patricia Jensen, 1993?

Was the man's quirkiness the whole point of the early reader? In this one, he wears an aviator cap all the time, even to bed.
