I remember the cover being bright yellow, perhaps with a bird on it. It was a sort of mystery, and revolves around a group of girls. At least part of it was during their senior year when they were trying to get into college. There was some sort of investigation into the school and a discovery of lead or something of the like in the water, and that somehow connected to something that had happened in the past at the school, a murder, perhaps?
