'Icarus' by K. Ancrum, I gave it 4.5 stars. I was absolutely in love with it until the end, it fell a bit flat for me.

The last book I read was non-fiction. It was War and Resistance in the Philippines which is an area of interest for me. It is an in-depth study of both Filipino and American resistance to the Japanese occupation. It was written by James Kelly Morningstar. It filled in a lot of gaps. I rated it a 5.
The last book I read was The Probable Future by Alice Hoffman. The book was about three generations of women of the Sparrow family who upon their thirteenth birthday develop psychic abilities. I found it entertaining, and the writing style kept me moving forward. I gave it four stars.
The Housemaid is Watching by Freida McFadden. 3/5 ⭐️s.It wasn't bad, but it was slow and felt like it was supposed to be a standalone book.
After several disappointing books, I reread Jane Eyre. As wonderful as ever.

TOXIC PREY by John Sandford. Five Stars. There are a ton of Prey novels but this one may be the best of the series. Intense with high stakes and global implications. Scary authentic.
The Blood Traitor (forgot the authors name lol) rated it 5 stars, if I could, I'd give it 100 stars. Bcz that ending was PERFECT!! I miss them already. (I ony finished less than a week ago)
