Conversations with friends - sally rooney, 3/5. Its actually quite simple and maybe not everyone's genre because its so slow built with no major climax. But as someone who has been in a somewhat similar relationship like the main character's, I've never felt more understood and all of the inner monologues that the character was thinking, were exactly how i felt and thought throughout the relationship.

I rated the book "The Queen's Gambit" by Walter Tevis at 3/5 stars. The plot was rather boring, repetitive, and at times the main character named Beth Harmon was truly unbearable. I decided to read this book four years later after watching the TV series, and I have to admit that the second one was much better.

The book I read before that was the Connellys of County Down by Tracey Lange. It was a well written and engaging book. My second book by Lange that I have read. It was an excellent read. I gave it a 5. I would recommend it to others.
