Review:
I was torn between 3 and 4 stars on this one. It has been a long time since I read book 2 so it took me a bit to remember everyone. But even a third of the way through I found myself not really caring about the main mystery and almost DNFed. I'm glad I pushed through to the end, however, because I didn't realize the series continues with Nevada's sister. I loved the battle scenes and also how it ended with the Prime trials. I'm not sure I'll continue with the series, unless I need it for a challenge, only because it's not the most interesting UF world to me.

Review: This is another series I haven’t read for a good while. I was able to get back into the world fairly easily, and I felt Neill did a good job of inserting little bits of plot from the last book as a refresher in a way that felt natural to this story. It helped that this one was a pretty direct follow up to the events of book 5.

I loved that we jumped right into action. The setup with Tate and the Maleficium was really cool and the history behind the messengers as well. I liked seeing Mallory get taken down a notch and the inklings of repair to her friendship with Merit. The only thing I didn’t love was the way the characters repeated themselves over and over in different dialogue with different characters. It made the story drag and felt clunky. In general, Neill spends too much time in filler scenes when the reader is waiting for the action to begin. But an enjoyable entry in the series and after the big vote at the end I'm curious to see where the Cadogan House goes from here.

Review:
Another cute entry in this cozy series! I enjoyed the darker themes of voodoo and learning more about Cookie. I also enjoyed Iris getting looped in on the book club! I always have trouble keeping everyone straight in this series, so I wish the characters stood out more with unique attributes instead of feeling like placeholders.
