Abby (abbyvg) | 2 comments The Six by Loren Grush - was definitely not expecting to have a nonfiction book on my fave list, but wow she writes it like a fiction novel and it's so good!

disa⸆⸉ ౨ৎ | 19 comments The a good girls guide to murder trilogy really made me get back into reading, so I would probably say those three books!

message 53: by Mo (new)

Brooke Peterson (brooke-reads-books) I read Throne of Glass this year so Kingdom of Ash has been my number one. But so many of these are so great!!

message 59: by Rubin (new)

Rubin Bryant So far it's a tough choice between four books. The Great Big Demon Hunting Agency by Peter Oxley, Dead Silence by S.A. Barnes, All Systems Red: The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells and Welcome To Neverbury by Chris Lynch.

message 60: by Sharon ❀ (new)

Sharon ❀ I have 2 favourites from this year :
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
Song of the forever rains by E. J. Mellow.
They both start out slow in the beginning and since they're both fantasy, it takes a while to get into it, but once you do it's hard to put them down!
Both are slowburn, romantasy. Highly recommend!!

message 64: by Nyx (new)

Nyx Jawor | 2 comments This was an overall great reading year for me so far, but I think If We Were Villians is taking the cake in categories for more mature fiction. I also reread the whole first Percy Jackson series and now I'm insufferable for my family and friends with my nonstop praises for uncle Rick's writing. ✨

message 65: by Doc (new)

Doc Cokie | 1 comments Omg hands down, Some Kind of Magic by Sonya Moore. It's the best biographical transformational memoir since Eat Pray Love and Wild. Some Kind of Magic heals the soul!

message 66: by Gillian (new)

Gillian R. (grajsic) | 1 comments Strange Sally Diamond! Absolutely loved it! But I have a lot of the books listed here on my TBR

. ⊹ ࣪˖ Anya-Chan . ⊹ ࣪˖ (feathersofmysoul) | 18 comments Frankenstein and The Night Circus.
Frankenstein is an amazing book because it explores profound themes of scientific ethics, the consequences of unchecked ambition, and the complexities of human nature through a captivating and timeless narrative.
The Night Circus is an amazing book because it weaves a spellbinding and enchanting tale of love, magic, and mystery within a uniquely imaginative and beautifully crafted world and such a spellbinding writing style.
