The mc guy suspected the mc girl of murdering his friend/ brother.Something along those lines. He ends up falling for her. In the beginning of the book she is new to a town and has a friendly encounter with an old man. I saw this book around late 2022-early 2023.
I'll be very grateful to find back the book, I've been searching for it for a while now.

It is slightly a forbidden romance book because he suspects her whatever crime or bad thing she did to his friend/brother but he still falls for her. I think it's supposed to be kind of a spicyy book.
