Also you should probably read A Short History of Nearly Everything if you haven't, it's like THE nonfic book. Not that COMPLICATED though. Most of it is science explained in wacky ways
It is basically a classic I suppose but even if it was published in 1950 something, The Sea Around Us is really cool on oceanography
