SOLVED. YA, Dark Fantasy/Fantasy (book cover is red) that follows a female protagonist who is a witch in this fantasy world, there is subtle gore mentioned such as blood, along the lines of the plot with 'bones' mentioned (and maybe in the title itself)

i'm certain that this book had a red cover. i'm sure it has a couple more other series - different plots by the same author. i insist that it was about witches - blood witches specifically? (i totally can be wrong about this) and the title had something to do with bones or i'd say the plot along the lines. the protagonist is a girl who is a young witch and basically goes on a journey (i am not too sure) however i insist on another fact that there were descriptions of (low-key) gore (i guess was an extent it is suitable for teens/ young adults) i happened to come across this book back in 2014-2015 (i could be dead wrong but it definitely was before 2016), picked it up in the children/teen section of the public library thus the young adult/teen dark fantasy. fantasy, horror indicated in the topic (i can't remember if it's a thriller as well, i doubt so but if it helps?)

i will try my best to wreck my brain cells. i'm sorry i can only provide this much information at this point in time. i will update when i remember more things!

hello all, the book series has been found - The Spooks Books 1 - 13 Complete Wardstone Chronicles Collection Set by Joseph Delaney. as for the book as described in the post is Spook's: Alice
