I actually haven't used Scribd before! I got prime for free for 6 months and massively reduced after (friend works for them and got a load of referrals lol) so I use the "free with prime" with audible all the time

In case you do want to try scribd I'll just drop my referral link haha https://de.scribd.com/g/7pjk7c
Keli wrote: "Hi all, i thought i already left a message. Sorry. Don't know what happened there"Hi Keli, awesome to have you on board!
I've got my first couple of reads planned out already (I knew I wasn't starting that U book yet for a reason!) but now I'm afraid I won't be able to finish all my current reads before wheel starts, which I like to do :( work has been way too busy the past couple of weeks so I've been picking up extra shifts and such

I didn't either until my friend started working there! I never used it all the often before, I only really use it for ebooks/audiobooks and the tv streaming, but I don't use any other one (netflix/disney+/paramount etc) and I forget I have it all the time lol
I have An Uninvited Ghost & Under Locke to start off the U's but the V might be hard!Lingus, Under Locke, Rhythm, Chord & Malykhin are all by Mariana Zapata so work for Z
I'll do more digging over the weekend for the harder letters to see what I have :)
Keli wrote: "I just finished flowers in the attic today. How perfect it would have been 😭😭😭 A V and banjo in the text."Handy to know tho! I might be able to get a copy from my library for it. I remember reading it when I was like 15, I wonder what it's like now as an adult
Aoife wrote: "I have An Uninvited Ghost & Under Locke to start off the U's but the V might be hard!"V and Z are hard letters 😂
honestly half of the word are near impossible lol I'm hoping to find some Vi Keeland books just to through in some more

That's what I thought but then I looked at the book's GR page and what it's about and uhm- I cannot read this 😬

I think going in blind as a teenager was the only way I did read it!
Less than 48 hours to go until we can finally start our Wheel books! How many books do you still have to finish before that? 👀
@Judy I hope you'll make it haha

Just want to make sure, we can use books that we have started before wheels right? This is based on Judy's post (message 3).
Oh I misunderstood. It's for each round but books must be started after the challenge starts. Then I have to re-enter my books on the tracking sheet then.
Alyana wrote: "Oh I misunderstood. It's for each round but books must be started after the challenge starts. Then I have to re-enter my books on the tracking sheet then."Yes, all books need to be started after the start of the challenge but can then be finished in any round after that

It's not looking good 💀 I still have 500 pages of The Brothers Karamazov - if I had the audiobook there'd be a chance but alas, I don't... plus 250 of The House of the Spirits which is an incredibly slow read
i have a LOT of Witch of the Federation left but it's over 600 pages needlessly it really could have done with some editing down lol
Aoife wrote: "i have a LOT of Witch of the Federation left but it's over 600 pages needlessly it really could have done with some editing down lol"I hope that at least makes it a quick read!

It's compelling. Not as bad as it sounds.
Hey Everyone! I'm Sanskriti (she/her) and I'll be playing by the name of Sanz in your team :)
This is my first team challenge in 8 years – can't believe I've been away from this Group for so long!
I used to be able to read a book a week but for the last 2 years, I haven't been able to keep up thanks to a hectic work schedule and trying to juggle personal responsibilities.
I'm taking a sabbatical from work for a little while and trying to rejuvenate. What better way to rewire myself than to tackle my TBR right? I'm really hoping to get my reading mojo back with this challenge.
I live in Mumbai, India so I'll be in the GMT +5.30 timezone and will try to check in on the discussions a few times a day.
So excited to be playing with all of you :)
Hi Sanz, lovely to meet you! I know exactly how you feel, I was barely reading (and not enjoying what I was reading) for a couple years there but this year I finally feel like myself again, and TT earlier this year certainly helped with that. We've got a planning spreadsheet set up for the challenge which you can find here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
Some info on how it works is in this post
I had a look through your shelves, can you please confirm thi is the shelf you'll be adding books for this challenge to? https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
If you have any questions, just shout! :)
Also, Judy could you please add me as a member on the tracking sheet? I'd like to add in some books I have planned
Sanskriti wrote: "Yes Judy, I'll be adding books to this shelf: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list..."Awesome!
Sanskriti wrote: "Also, Judy could you please add me as a member on the tracking sheet? I'd like to add in some books I have planned"You should have editing rights to the "books" tab already, in which you'll also enter the ref codes to claim letters from the "round 1" tab :)
ETA: and I just edited updated the members tab so your name shows up in the dropdown

I'll definitely keep those in mind, thanks Keli! Hope you're feeling better soon too!

It definitely sounds like child abuse which is not something I want to read at this point in my life. + I just found some more trigger warnings and yeah No, I already feel sick just seeing those 😩

Hi Sanz, lovely to meet you and to have you play with us :)
I was about to say a lot must have changed on here in the past 8 years, but honestly this is goodreads, it hasn't changed all that much lol (although the things that have changed have changed for the worse tbh 😬)
Favourite music/artists you want to share? And what kind of books were your favourite, do you think it has changed in the last couple of years? :)
A little less than 12 hours to go! Has everyone picked their first read? I think I'm going to start with Unwritten Rules as that should be the fastest read... I'm going to try to stay up late to watch baseball and read but we'll see how that goes

You're right, not much has changed on Goodreads. I've been nostalgic all day yesterday since joining the team since it reminds me of a time when I was younger and the world was a much simpler place :)
I listen to a lot of Jazz and Alternative music. Haux and Novo Amor are my particular favorites in the Indie genre. I've decided to challenge myself a bit – since this team is called "Pop" I'm going to dive into some Pop music for the next few weeks :)
I read a lot more non-fiction now than I used to, although I do enjoy historical fiction and high fantasy as well.

I will start reading Panipat – but since the game begins sometime around 2 am for me, I might only get started on Sunday :)
I also have The Book Thief on my list which I'll read for the letter "Z". I've read the book before so I think it will be a quick one for me.
