SOLVED. 80s YA book about Girl with family problems attending her First School Dance. [s]

This was a YA book that I would guess was printed in the mid to late 80s, and I definitely read it in around '88-'90. The plot revolved around a girl who was going to her first school dance in junior high, and she was nervous about it. The book's tagline read: 'How can she dance with two left feet?'. There was also a second storyline about the girl struggling with the fact that her grandmother, who lived with her family, was starting to date. I remember she referred to the grandmother as 'Gram.' I believe there may have been other family struggles going on as well. Any help on the title or author would be appreciated!
