SOLVED. Cinderella story, ghost of mother, has to like everybody? [s]

Hello!

I just remember reading the short bio of this book on amazon. It might have been a short story or a short kindle book, but I don't remember exactly.

It's a classic retelling of Cinderella, I think, but the protagonist's mother has cursed her so that she must always be happy/love everyone. If she doesn't like someone, the ghost of the mother kills them I think.

That's all I've got people. It's a recent book, prob. YA. Thanks for the help!
