Book about man with addiction, moving to a park to live

I bought and read this book in 2017 and cannot remember what it called! It has a green cover with leaves on and I’m pretty sure it had a male author. The man has an addiction in the book and leaves his family to live in a park in London. He gets involved with another group of people living there, where it is like a cult.
