I don't know why I thought more of these would be familiar only to find out I only know two. You guys can probably guess which two those are.
Most likely because my mind went to Greek Mythology when I saw the word Titans. So, I was thinking either the Titans themselves or creatures from mythology.

Sounds good to me.

LOL! I stick to creatures. Gods tend to play with us mortals.

Mechagodzilla

Mechagodzilla is a mechanical duplicate of Godzilla constructed by Apex Cybernetics to destroy Titans. It has many abilities. The first of which is the A-74 Proton Scream. At 40%, this is powerful enough to cut a Skullcrawler in half. It is also equipped with missile launchers that rise from behind his shoulder pads. Mechagodzilla had a set of six rocket boosters that fire out of ports by his dorsal fins. These make him more agile in close quarters. They could also be switched to jets for underwater propulsion. He can launch several aerial drones from his back. Those drones each have a machine gun. Mechagodzilla was made of titanium and a T-1 Nanometal to make him resistant to damage. He was intended to be a bio-mechanical. Apex Cybernetics connected the neural networks of King Ghidorah's skull to Mechagodzilla to remotely pilot him from inside the skull. Unfortunately, this also allowed Ghidorah's consciousness to take control and sever the neural link.
As Godzilla and Kong were fighting for supremacy in Hong Kong, Apex activated Mechagodzilla despite the lack of testing. Ghidorah was able to take control and possess the mecha. Apex no longer had control of him. Godzilla stopped fighting Kong and promptly charged his lookalike. Kong wakes up and sees the battle occurring in front of him. Jia convinces Kong that Godzilla is not the true enemy and he joins the battle against Mechagodzilla. Working together, Godzilla and Kong defeat Mechagodzilla.
To capture Mechagodzilla, the only chance you have is if you hack into his controls. Spell out HACKER

After a question, in the original challenge about Buddy Reads, I have decided to give you the same bonus points for an informal buddy read as the HOB Formal Buddy Read. Here are the rules:
*Your buddy must be on your team
*You may do a buddy read of 2 or 3 (as you have teams of 3)
*The book must fit one of your tasks, of course
To sign up for an informal buddy read click Here and a thread will be set up for you. This option will be added to the Buddy Read bonus dropdown in your spreadsheets shortly.

Which Titan do you guys want to hunt next?
I have no preference. We can go in reverse order from bottom to top if you like, or just whoever you like when it comes time to pick.
Congrats on capturing Mechagodzilla. You may grab the bookmark from the collectibles page if you'd like.
Camazotz

Camazotz is a giant demonic-looking bat with rough brown skin. There is fur on his chest and back. He has a small head with red eyes, horns, and sharp teeth. One of his horns is broken. His large shredded wings are covered in sharp, bone-like protrusions. He is able to fly and actually keep pace with (and destroy) F-35 fighter jets. He also has a long, spiky tail which he can use to grab and lift other Titans. Camazotz emits a supersonic scream that can shatter buildings and disorient Titans during combat. He uses his claws to grab & lift Titans into the air and drop them from extreme heights. Like bats, he is blind and uses echolocation to navigate. He controls a massive swarm of giant bat-like creatures. They do his bidding and typically attack fighter jets for him. He cannot stand sunlight and sonic booms disorient him.
Camazotz was awakened by King Ghidorah. Using his swarm, he attacked San Diego. He did not arrive in time to see Godzilla become the new alpha. Camazotz retreated back into the Hollow Earth. He resurfaced in 2021 at Skull Island seeking to conquer it. He is met by Kong and they battle. Monarch fighter pilots try to help Kong and Camazotz sets his swarm on them. Kong is able to defeat Camazotz and throws him back down into the Hollow Earth.
To capture Camazotz, you will need 5 chains
Complete the following tasks
Wing 1: Read a chain of 3 books with bats on the cover
Wing 2: Read a chain of 3 books with something that flies on the cover
Tail 1: Read a chain of 3 books with a blind character
Foot 1: Read a chain of 3 books with characters who cannot tolerate the sun
Foot 2: Read a chain of 3 books with a villain who is defeated

Catsalive wrote: "This is a tough monster!"My thoughts exactly!
Catsalive wrote: "Is it helpful to have a tracking post or just use the spreadsheet? I'm ok with just the SS."
I like tracking posts, but either way is fine with me. I generally check both, but it's easier to a quick check if it's here.
I'm going to make one and post it here with my reading options, since I have a few challenges going on. It helps me keep things straight.

Team Challenge
September 2023 - November 2023
Please take some time and choose a team name. You will also need to choose which monster you want to catch first. Choose wisely because some monsters require more than others. As such, those monsters will net more points. Let me know when you have made your choices.

Rules
⛓️Each monster has specific chains and/or tasks that need to be completed.
Examples:
1. Create a chain of 3 using titles consecutively (ABC)
-All the Light We Cannot See
-Becoming Mrs. Lewis
-Catching Fire
2. Create a chain of 3 with "dog" in the titles
-Shoe Dog: A Memoir by the Creator of Nike
-The Dog Stars
-Hot Dog Girl
⛓️One person should NOT complete a whole chain by themselves. This is a team challenge. However, if a monster has multiple chains and a slower reader can only/want to only read for 1 or 2 chains (they must read at least one), then the other two faster readers on the team can complete the other chains between the two of them.
⛓️You may choose which monster from the list to capture first but you MUST complete it BEFORE starting a new creature.
⛓️You may use or drop articles: A, An, The
⛓️If you somehow manage to incorporate a Formal Buddy Read book into a chain, you will earn 2 bonus points. See the buddy read folder for the current book. They are also listed in the spreadsheet dropdown list (when your team has a thread & spreadsheet assigned to them).
⛓️Standard Rules Apply
⛓️At the end of the official challenge (last day of November), your team may choose to continue on at your own pace. There will be no points accumulated after November but you can finish any monsters that you didn't get to during the challenge.
Scoring
You will get 3 points for every completed book (9 per completed chain) PLUS page points.
