I was checking my TBR and -after hunting for a bigger image on the internet- saw that my audiobook, has the woman wearing flip-flops. It's on my TBR, not too long, not a summer book and almost seasonal, so yaaaay!

And with the upcoming Tolkien challenge I realised that I have to read Letters from Father Christmas to/with Domi, so we started yesterday and he seems to enjoy it. 😊

Also, thanks to Monsters-Wheel, he actually completed the goal he set for himself when I registered him on GR. He has read more than 25 books. By now he's at the 28th. 🥰

Letters from Father Christmas was what made me realise I used to live on the same street Tolkien lived when he taught at Leeds. Saw the address on one of the envelopes 😁

I always used to write letters to the kids from Santa (which would be left behind in place of the sherry & mince pies and the carrot for Rudolph 😆), but they were nothing like what Tolkien did. Talk about being an awesome dad!

The protomolecule hadn't made an appearance yet, but the book I just finished also has a hive mind, so will sweap out just in case it doesn't show in that particular expanse book 😁
