I've been wanting to read , which is usually listed as a cookbook. It may have some recipes in the appendix, but it's a whole different thing altogether. So I've been waiting all year for a challenge-less period of time so I can read it without the headache of trying to justify it 😂

It's compounded by the fact that I've been teaching him to cook recently. He said "At this rate I'll actually become a fully functioning human being one of these days". Then proceeded to dump all of his grubby clothes by my feet for me to wash. 😂

oh dear, so I shouldn't lose hope just b/c my almost-10-year-old has to be read the riot act for every single and -of course- impossibly difficult chore like "put away your toys" or (heaven fobid) "clean your teeth". 😂

He went through a phase where he hated to have a bath or shower. I swear the neighbours thought we were murdering him judging by the shouting and screaming. Now he showers twice a day and hates being grubby 😂
