I really enjoyed the storyline of Persuasion. The main character Anne was very likeable and I felt myself rooting for her and Wentworth from the start. The politics of marriage in Jane Austen's time is also displayed well here and often made me shake my head. The only reason I gave it three stars is I am not a great fan of Jane Austen's writing style and this makes the story more difficult to get through than it otherwise would be.

I wish I like this book more. I may have to reread it in the future. My attention was split with other things. I didn't connect with either MCs till near the end.
