Not sure what to say about this book, it was depressing, the characters were all depressing, even the story was depressing lol.
It is based around 2 friends Perry & "Baby Girl" and their tiny little life stealing cars and joy riding.
Both Perry and Baby Girl start getting messages from "Jamie" and their friendship is put to the test.

Review: Okay, first, i loved Blue in book 1, she became a bit bitchy in book 2, and in this book, i legit wanted to slap her on more than one occasion. She is outright rude. Doesn't seem to care if she hurts anyone's feelings. I get it, you have a curse and should avoid kissing people, but being a complete bitch to everyone isn't helping you.
I was surprised by some of the story lines, i won't spoil but it was a nice little circle going :)
I do wish there was more to Blue's moms stuff, but maybe The Raven King will address that a bit!
Now i must sit here and urge time forward to when The Raven King is done!

This is my first Sherlock and I find it disappointing. In this collection of eight short stories the author follows the same pattern: the foreigners screw up and Sherlock saves England. Stereotypes, stereotypes, stereotypes. Even the characters couldn't save the book, Sherlock doesn't suffer from Asperger's like in the BBC version but is still the infalliable one, Watson is just an observer and the reader is the dumb one, because the author never gives you space to come to your own conclusions.
2 stars for the portrayal of the women (awesome, all of them) and for the German mastermind <3

Review: What a rush! This crazy mystery took us to Scotland for a trapped-on-the-island murder story that was full of thrills and chills. I loved the creepy Gothic castle and the stormy nights. I found the mystery itself to be a bit convoluted, but the reveal at the end sets us up nicely for the final book. I'm looking forward to seeing what's in the final chapter for Ty and Zane and the whole Sidewinder crew. Lots of ends to tie up still, but this was a fun read to get us going.
Figured I'd quickly check in since everyone else is already done. XD I'm halfway through my book and should finish later today (barring unexpected emergencies). :)
Sorry sorry sorry! >_< I'm moving tomorrow and got stuck packing wayyyy longer than anticipated yesterday... but now I'm finally done with my book.

The Follies of the King by Jean Plaidy (Plantagenet Saga #8)
Finished: 27 March 2015
Rating: ****
Review:
The story of Edward II is one I know quite well, having read a lot about him. I'm always interested to see different authors' interpretations of the facts and characters involved, so this was the book in this series that I was most looking forward to reading. As usual, Jean Plaidy doesn't disappoint: Her books are always a pleasure to read and I enjoyed the rather balanced approach she took to the characters: None of them are obvious saints or villains to the exclusion of all other traits - they're just people, some more and some less likable, but all portrayed in a manner that gives understandable motives to their actions. Looking forward to the next part of the Plantagenet Saga.

Review: The bio says its like Eleanor & Park and i agree.
Awkward boy with issues falls in love with not so awkward girl with issues, but it can't work for some reason.
It also felt like Say What You Will. So i felt like some one just took the two books and made it into this book so yah.
Overall, a quick, nice read, but very similar to other books.

Black Rook by Kelly Meade (Cornerstone Run Trilogy #1)
Finished: 31 March 2015
Rating: ****
Review:
Having loved the author's two previous series published as Kelly Meding, I was quite excited to check out her latest project. 'Black Rook' is the first book in a trilogy with more of a PNR flavour than her other works. However, this doesn't mean that there isn't a lot more to the story than "just" romance - just as I've come to expect from this immensely talented author, the opening of the Cornerstone Run series offers gripping, fast-paced action, intriguing and complex characters and a fascinating, well thought out mythology. A great read that sends me straight on to Amazon to purchase the next part!

Finished: 3/31/15

Review: I don't know why I put off reading this for so long. I love sports, and this football-star-falls-in-love-with-a-regular-gal story really worked for me. I found the characters sweet and interesting, and the hang-ups were believable. Nathan was probably my favorite character, and unfortunately (since she's a central character in book 2) I thought Liz was the least enjoyable. I can't believe I'm saying this, but there may have been a few too many sex scenes - it slowed down the pacing without advancing much in their love journey - but overall I really liked this one!

Better than the last pick, but gets boring at some parts. The first half of the book was pretty interesting, Watson and Holmes getting to know each other, the mysterious case and all of a sudden Doyle decides to give his readers the name of the assassin + his biography + execution of the killings + how Sherlock solved the case.
I guess that I don't have luck with my Sherlock-picks, even the fans said the best books are in the middle of the series :(

So sorry I have been away for a few days, I have read my book just need to put a review on, will be back in a while to do it :○)

Umm this book was okay but not brilliant.
It follows the story of Jake & Eve and there on off, on off, on off relationship.
Basically that was the whole book, they were in love and had "explosive" sex, Jake disappeared for 10 years and then just turns up and expects to get back together with Eve, whadya know, she takes him back!
Queue more explosive sex, an argument or 3, more sex and a little bit more sex thrown in.
No I don't know about you but I loves me a bit of smut, but I was pretty bored with all the shagging in this book, I found myself skimming the book by the end.
I'm not sure whether I will be reading book 2

Finally back to myself after a lovely visit to Poland for a few days, Krakow is a beautiful city.

This is the last book of the Stagedive series and I'm sad to say goodbye to all of the characters.
Lizz finds out she is pregnant after a one night stand with Ben, bass player of Stagedive.
Ben is not the relationship type at all so he has to come to terms with the fact that he now has responsibilities, this also gets rammed into him by all of the other Stagedive boys.
All of the other boys have settled down and it is up to Ben now to man up and look out for Lizz, she is in love with him after all, even though he doesn't know it!
If you haven't read this series
1. WHY, GO AND READ IT NOW
2. GO AND READ IT NOW!!!

Congratulations on the baby! And such a great name! ;)

Book: Deep by Kylie Scott
Finished: April 5, 2015
Rating: 5*
Review: The Stage Dive Series has possibly become my favorite series ever. Honestly. It has everything you want in a romance. It has a sexy story, sexy characters and sexy SEX! The final book, Deep, is just as awesome as the rest. Originally, Ben was my least favorite band member. I just wasn't interested in him. But knowing what an amazing writer Kylie Scott is I knew that without any doubt I'd be a Ben lover too. I am...beard and all. I thought there would be a little epilogue about ALL the characters but there wasn't, my ONLY complaint. I know I will forever re-read these books. Even though I now have a 'thing' for Ben, Mal will always be my favorite. Its always a treat when he pops up. A Must, Must Read!! "Heather N Mal 4-ever!!" ;)

Troubled Bones by Jeri Westerson (Crispin Guest #4)
Finished: 06 April 2015
Rating: 4****
Review:
The Archbishop of Canterbury has requested Crispin's services: threats have been made against the cathedral's most famous relics, the bones of Saint Thomas Beckett. Crispin is to guard them, but shortly after his arrival not only do the bones go missing, but a prioress visiting the cathedral as a pilgrim is brutally murdered. And in the midst of all the chaos, Crispin encounters an old friend he hasn't seen since his fall from grace: one Geoffrey Chaucer, poet and occasional spy in the service of Crispin's former patron the Duke of Lancaster. Atmospheric and highly entertaining historical mystery with taut suspense and many nods to Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.

Review: I couldn't remember if i read this one last time or not, and about half way through i remember that i started it but never finished this so i'm glad i got to finish it this time.
This book starts up right where book 1 stopped, which i love when they do that. The main 4 characters are still getting crazy texts/emails from A. They start fighting with each other. Shit hits the fan.
Drama everywhere and i loved it :) I will be reading the next few books for sure!

Finished: 09. 04. 2015

Review: Not so epic as the first book, but still beautiful. The only thing that bothers me is that the half of the book was spent on searching for Caspian's war camp. The good thing: Lewis finds a way to teach us something even on this voyage.

(Graceling Realm #2)
Finished: 4/7/15
Rating: 4 stars
Review: This was a fun companion novel in the Graceling series. I enjoyed the setting in this unknown part of Katsa and Po's world. The monsters were an interesting counterpoint to the Gracelings, and it makes me curious to see if it will all come together in the last book. I liked Fire a lot, though she didn't come off as particularly teenaged. This didn't have much of a YA feel at all, really. At times it moved a little slowly, but overall I enjoyed her struggle to accept herself and figure out her role in the political climate. I'm looking forward to Bitterblue.
