E (bloodyeclipse) | 21 comments I read this book maybe around 2006-2010, it’s a children’s book, not a picture book. It’s about this girl who went to live with her grandma, not sure if she’s an orphan or not. She describes her grandmother and her home as beige everything. Grandmother teaches her how to transform inanimate things from one to the other. Not sure about the father but the girl’s mother had disappeared one day but at the end of the book the girl seems to have discovered that her mother might have accidentally transformed into the grandmother’s window curtains and forgot herself in the transformation and was unable to change back. Not sure if it’s a series or not but the discovery ends in a cliffhanger way.

E., cam you give examples of objects she transforms? What does she use to make this happen?

I copied a few book details to the topic header. Feel free to edit it.

E (bloodyeclipse) | 21 comments I don’t remember at all what she changes in the book but she uses just her mind, no wands or anything of the sort. And I think the book starts with her on the way to her grandmother’s home, maybe at the bus stop or she got dropped off? Don’t remember too well.
