A fabulous ending to this series. I'm sorry to see it end. Author Jordan Castillo Price is one of my favorite authors.

The History of Lucy's Love Life in Ten and a Half Chapters

This one was a fun read. I love time travel books. This was just a fun concept in that genre. The concept of dating historical figures were great. I however did have trouble with the second half of the book being not as fun as the first half.

With the Band (Luminescent Juliet, #3) by Jean Haus

Rating: 3½★

This was a cute New Adult romance but not my favorite in the series. I felt so sorry for Sam and all he had to deal with involving his brother's mental illness. However, I did not like his method of coping with it. Peyton was so clueless and I found her to be a little annoying for most of the book. I am looking forward to Gabe's story in the next book.

Susan A | 2091 comments We do still have our free pass. Does anyone need to start reading ASAP? If you do, then roll and we'll use the pass.

If not, then I'll wait to see if I hear from Roger. I'll roll this evening if I don't hear from him.

Let me know if you think I should do otherwise.

Week 10 roll 2: Jaded
precious gems three. rating 5 stars finished 5/26

This is the third in the Precious gem series all of which focus On Trent a M/M Romance author and Reed an undercover FBI agent/spy. In this case they are in Japan and it is Trent that get them into the situation they are in. Trent owns half an art Gallery and he is in Japan to deal with a couple of Japanese collector who want to sell some art objects in the gallery, One of the collectors with ties to the Yakuza is killed right after Trent leaves having been given a frame and a woodcut featuring two male samurais together intimately. Trent handled the murder weapon at the Collector request. Reed has to act like A Japanese version of a rent boy to try to get information to free and clear trent of the murder charge. there is a lot of hot times and false leads but eventually Reed and Trent figure it out.

Review: A depressing low fantasy story where most of the main characters die. this is very similar in that way to Hamlet. War and disasters are foremost in this book that is also about politics and who we love. To depressing to be rated higher and there are some editing issues; missing words, extra spaces, word broken apart. would have loved some semblance of a happy ending and the sample chapter of the next in the series is on the same sort a trajectory. I will probably not read it.

I enjoy this book. It was a cute fluffy romance. It is a genie book. I really liked the main character. The relationship between her and her genie. Definitely a fast read that makes you smile and laughed. Well read more from this author.

Wow! Creepy creepy. I am really enjoying this series and based on the ending I am happy that there is more to come.

A few things:
1. I don't get the cover or title at all -- I don't recall a bird scene...
2. I was screaming at that in my head - -keep the salt in your pockets. They always had to go find some.

An enjoyable biker romance with plenty of suspense. I loved how strong the heroine, Lilli, was after her tragic past. The prologue alone was heartbreaking and left me pulling for her from the start and Isaac was good for her. Looking forward to the rest of this series.

Sweet, but not sappy. I loved it. 2 contestants on a reality show realize that the management is fixing the results and they are on the way out. They join to together to foil managemnt's plans by faking a relationship and leaking it to the public. Along the way, the fake relationship turns into a real one. I'm not sure what compelled me to buy this...I've come to realize that most of the time I hate books featuring muscians or rock bands and I NEVER EVER watch reality shows, so I have no interest there either. Somehow, this just worked for me.

I don't know why I have put off reading this classic for so long. I had to get used to the writing style and formal language used by the characters but it was a wonderful story. Now I want to watch the movie.

I like this historical because it is more plot driven than society/morals driven. the mystery of what the villians are up to in turn of the 20th century England is intriguing if I liked historical romances more I probably would have given this five stars.

This one was okay. I could not get into this one. I did not like the characters to much. I did like the writing style. However this one was a chunkster and did not need so much. Kind of sad had high hope for this author.
