I just finished re-reading this last night and now I'm working on my review.

I recently read the following sentence on another review :
"This book wasn’t bad. That’s not to say that it was good, though. It just kind of was." , which pretty much sums up my feelings about it.

A very generous 2 stars from me according to GR rating system - More like a 1,5....

This was very different than what I expected. I really liked the descriptions of everything - quite vivid! I liked the MC and the journey she went on throughout the book. I was not a fan of all the twists and turns, but I was fine until the ending, which seemed odd and out of character from the rest of the book. I’m intrigued enough to read the next book in the trilogy. Worth reading! 3.5 stars

I enjoyed this very much. Loved the setting. Story moved right along. I will read the next book in the series (have it on hold now).
