I don’t remember the genre, but I think it was based on real events.
So two strangers are looking for someone to kill themselves with in an online Forum.
The guy posts a search request basically saying, I want to kill myself, I don’t want to do it alone, don’t try to stop me only answer if you’re serious about doing it.
A girl answers, they chat and then decide to meet up, the guy offers to pay for the girls flight.
So they meet up and go to this really tall cliff and camp there for three days. I think it was in a cold place, I think it might be Norway. They film “goodbye videos”. I think it was a really old camera that still used films. The girls reason is because she thinks she has seen everything in her life and death is a new adventure. I don’t remember the guys reason, but I think he was sad.
They talk about how it will be to fall, the girl calculates how long it’ll take them. They also note that they’ll have to jump out far, because there was a little platform a few meters down. They talk about their reasons, thoughts and life in general and end up falling in love. In the end they don’t kill themselves because they find a new reason to live in each other.
The cover was orange and I think the country the cliff is based in was in the title.
I read this in 8th grade and it was so good, but I cannot remember the title

@Jessica, that’s definitely not it, it wasn’t a well known/popular book, it also was already several years old when I read it 5years ago
