The kindle version is 161. Either version you read is good. As long as it is 160 pages. :)
Oh A Discovery of Witches. How is that? I have it. My client wants me to read it to her. I only read a few chapters of it to her but that was months ago. It's only when we have long days together.
It's pretty good if you are into paranormal witches and vampire love. :) it has a bit of mystery to it so I like it. Plus it's over 500 pages so more points for us!

I'm having a hard time finding lots of letters in one book. Of course I'm talking about short books. Frustrating.

This was a re-read I did after reading book 3. Still a great read. It is a total thrill ride. The Drood family has protected humanity for centuries and now Eddie has been declared rogue by his family and has to figure out why before they kill him.

I gave it 2 stars too. I didn't like the characters. I reserve 1 star for Me Before You. Everything about that book is just wrong! Allison Ann is with me on this one. :P I think we were the only two that didn't like that book at all. Everyone else loved and raved and raved about it. Blah!
Well, crap. I had Me Before You on my list for another challenge this week. If it has hateful characters like this one I may wait.
The majority of people love the book. So, don't go by what I just say. I find the book really upsetting. The message, even the title. The title is horrible once you read the book. Yet, 98% of people love the book and it's horrible message. (See I'm very biased. :P )
I guess it's popular right now because they are making a movie of it. Why would they do that?

Spellcheck isn't a substitute for a brain. Grrrr!

If someone want to read Red Rising and sign up for the DQs for that it will give us extra points. I already read it and don't want to re-read it. I also refused to sign up for Me Before You, again. I think those are already assigned.
I already read Red Rising and don't feel up to another read. 2 stars for me. On the bright side, we blocked another team from potential DQ points because of my day!

I hope to have one or two more books tomorrow. I have some heavy work days the next four days two 13 hour days and two 12 hour days. I'm hoping I get some reading time during a little of the down time.

I do not have an "N" for the last letter of the third spell-out. I do not know if something else can be moved around to fit there. Otherwise, I guess I hang out there on the 4th go-round waiting...Last book of the week for me (since I am a rule follower and am only supposed to do 4 books/week). I will start on some things for next week and hope that they will fit with whatever words we get. Remember that I will only be able to get reading done on Sunday and Monday and Saturday of the last week of the challenge (I will be teaching at a conference and get no time to read.)I have to say that this book that I read was of especial interest to me. I spent some time in China on a diplomatic tour a few years ago. This book deals with the effects of the Cultural Revolution upon a girl (just 5 years older than myself) and her family. It is a memoir. Fascinating for me! I saw so much of the effects of this while I was there (nearly 40 years later). People do not like to even talk about this there. Or, they are very careful about what they say. Just an interesting read.

Home now! I didn't bowl very well and our team finished dead last, but hey, we each got $40 so it wasn't a total waste of time. Good thing I like bowling even though I suck.I should have one more finished by tomorrow afternoon.

I love bowling but my friends don't and I'm too cheap to pay for a season and too shy to join a team by myself. my 11 year old bowls though so I make him practice with me twice a month.
I will need to find a different league if I want to bowl this fall. My sister-in-law works for the city and we bowled on the city league, but she is switching to swing shift so I need to see if I can wrangle up a group to bowl in a non-city league. For fun--I truly don't care if we are dead last. :)Finishing up The Rose Garden before work. I'll try to update before I leave in a couple of hours. Late shift on Friday for me but I should get another finished on Saturday for us.
