I’ve been searching for years for this book and the title is something involving “The Hidden Door” or “Through the Hidden Door” etc. I found “Journey Through the Hidden Door” by Kimberly Hartman but it was published in 2006 and I was a tween in the late 90s when I had this book. It may be by Scholastic but I am not certain. Around 150 pages. Help!
