Protagonist is a teen guy who's mostly concerned with his developing relationship with his girlfriend. I remember there's a recurring bit about her saying "I love you" and him replying with "I love you" without saying "too," because he thinks "too" sounds less sincere. Deeply weird book, I think he had a whole sister-wife thing going by the end.
