SOLVED. YA Fantasy/ Fiction book (Can't remember which) I read between 2020 and 2021 about two female twins from the north who have been chosen as a Seeker and something else(I forgot what its called) (Check comments). [s]

The twins own a cat and dog with weird names and have a father who makes clothes. While in the forest for a ritual, weird monsters attack them and their party and they find out their entire village has been slaughtered. The leave their village and head out to seek help from a larger city. One the way, they get attacked by fantasy creatures and one of the twins (The Seeker) ends up getting capture for a king's harem. Eventually, they reach the city where it is revealed on of their companions father is actually alive (He'd been exiled for practicing magic) and had been teaching his son magic. That's all I remember, hope it helps.
