Paul Pryce | 11 comments Hi. This was in Woolworths around 1978. It’s a Sci book. All I recall is the cover but I’d like to finals it/read it.
The cover has like a giant tank machine coming towards the observer with lots of heavily armoured sort of black glad storm troopers run out.
I think it was sunny.

The Texas-Israeli War: 1999

Both seem a bit short on stormtroopers though.

Paul Pryce | 11 comments It’s not. I wish I could attach a “sketch” lol but thank you for chipping in.

Llynnya | 131 comments Paul - I have no clues about your book but there is a way to attach a sketch. I've seen people link to them like in this thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

And just like not knowing your book I don't know how to attach an image link I bet if you went to the "Just to chat" area of this group someone could help you.

Llynnya | 131 comments Paul I'm back haha still don't know the name of your book but followed a link and discovered how you can post your sketch.

At top right side of the screen there is a bunch of links like 'Group Home' 'Bookshelf' 'Polls' There's one that says 'Pictures' that will let you upload a pic of your cover sketch and then you can copy/paste that in.

Paul Pryce | 11 comments Thanks mate. Perhaps like adding a photo cover to s as book that isn’t on Amazon. Sound like a job for the Desktop not the App :-)

Paul, please describe the cover in your topic header. Headers MUST contain as much details as possible.

Paul Pryce | 11 comments Hi Lonstergirl - all I have is a memory of the book cover art which I’m planning to “sketch out” and attach. Otherwise the header will be just ramble.

You typed: "The cover has like a giant tank machine coming towards the observer with lots of heavily armoured sort of black glad storm troopers run out."

We need that to be in your header. It's not ramble, it's visual detail.

We need details in topic headers because many members only skim topic headers, they don't read further than that.

Paul, I copied book details to topic header. Feel free to edit it.

Are the soldiers on the cover dressed all in black?

Do you think the story took place on an alien planet? Mostly about war?

Paul Pryce | 11 comments Thanks mate - yes they were dressed in black! Unfortunately I never read a single page of the book - it was the shelf in Woolworths around 1978. I HAVE drawn the picture that was suggested….. I’ll try and get in the desktop version if Goodreads and get it posted.
Many thanks again.
