One of the covers was red with a lyre on, another one purple or potentially blue? Read sometime between 2010-2013 but not new at that time, borrowed from the library. Plot is about a girl going on a journey across fantasy land with a musician/bard. They were quite long maybe 300-400 pages plus? There were at least 3 books in the series

Could it be the Books of Pellinor series by Alison Croggon? It looks like it follows a young girl and a bard, and there are versions of the covers that seem to match your description
