I would have moved you further ahead, Cheryl, but you were close to the end of your board!

@KateNZ - The Cabanna Boys in the Caboose are all excited to greet your return as Engineer - they thought you were never leaving Porter. I think they want to see your stitching progress on your certificate piece, at least that's the gossip. Rumor has it they have a reserved sign up in the best lighted corner.
They are a little intimidated by all the Station Masters - think it is a combo of the bespoke uniforms and hasty reading pace. None want to party.
I have assured them that Cheryl, JoAnne, Amy and I will soon be there to liven it all up.
So looking forward to the Caboose company! Those cabana boys had better put a celebration champagne in the fridge for when I get there. Thanks for reserving the well lit chair for me. I may be in the caboose for a while, surrounded by boxes of threads for my needlepoint project …
Sue wrote: "I'm ready for my next roll tomorrow."Oh, Sue is closing in on Engineer and a return to the Caboose too! I overheard the Cabanna Boys are practicing their salsa moves and laying in margarita supplies and the makings for a guacamole, nachos, and taco party.
@Sue- before you leave the RoyalCoach, make sure to retrieve you completely refreshed wardrobe from the attendant and spend a few hours relaxing in the spa. You should leave fully rested and ready for the party in the Caboose.

Thanks for the reminder Theresa. I've apparently been flinging my kimono everywhere, eating more than my fair share of the desserts on offer, and generally making a nuisance of myself to those trying to actually read.
I'm ready to get back to the cabana boys in the Caboose - so much more fun than the very prim and proper waiters in the Royal Coach!
Next Roll for me as well - a clerk level two dice roll!Theresa, we make perfectly paced Travel Companions! Matching Luggage, and we will get twinned kimonos when it is our time! Plus we are both up late (and early it seems). How well matched we are for the jourrney. I hope these next rolls take us far and together!
My review of my subdue book is a blend of Jewish Historical Fiction, Jane Austen, and Jewish Astrology if such a thing compels. I imagine its an acquired taste. It is indeed quite unusual. I have read 15 or 16 subdue books to date. Which for me feels impressive, but compared to our Station Masters and Engineers, and Porters, feels way behind in the train. Hey, even finishing the clerk level early will be something. My goal was to do it over the course of the year.
Kate, IMO, you are much better stiching than reading right now, as you are the only Engineer in there! I will be coming into the caboose in a bit myself, only through the luck of a special roll. I am trying to zip through these last few book so I do not miss the taco party!

I'm sorry KateNZ, but you are the victim this week. Please move back:

Hello, Diana! I looked at the rule to see exactly how I phrased it, and yes - - your next move will be selected by the randomizer. Let me know when you are ready for it (after you've read the book on 15 and posted the review).

Just so I understand, I am at 99. But I have to read a book from someone else's shelf before I can move to Porter? It is impossible for me to roll a one at the clerk level...... Time to personal gameboard search......
When Nietzsche Wept. OK People. I look at my damn TBR and Want to Read lists, poring over them sometimes a couple of times a day. Embarrassing but true. I don't even recall ever even having this anywhere on my TBR. Good news is - off it is coming I guess. But of all things! No Romantic Comedy, or Woman in the Library...... I am going to be going over my Porter Board with a fine Tooth Comb!!!!!

I think on general principle you should use it and find something light and fun instead.
Interesting point. If this is my last swap, I can go for anything really, maybe one of the ones I was hoping to land on. That is an excellent point. But when I just looked up the book and ordered it from the library, I see it’s Irving Yalom. I actually really love that guy. I even loved his one novel that I read. Looks like this is his other fictional novel. I like your idea. Let me put some thought into this.

I still have a swap to use and am considering using it before departing to read a book I need to read soon for another challenge.
Plus I am still keeping seats warm and finishing up our jigsaw puzzle in the Parlor Car - and keeping the staff on their toes. Enjoy all the amenities in Royal Coach, especially the spa treatments and wardrobe refreshing offered. You want to be sure you are rested and sparkling for the Salsa Party coming up in Caboose.
And make sure you grab some desserts from the Royal Coach patisserie before Sue gets them all or includes them in her luggage as she leaves for Porter training.

Seems my next up is no longer available in Kindle Unlimited or from the library and has a higher ebook price tag than I want to pay right now. I am swapping out Pearls and Peril by Lynn Gardner which has 231 pages paperback (no hardcover) for The Lions of Fifth Avenue which has 368 pages. That uses my 2nd and last swap and gets a book read I need to fit in now. Off to update my board. And add this series to my used book search list.
Anita wrote: "And for this week's Shake It Up Sunday, Tien needs to move back 5."I have been waiting for this momentous day! lol
I've yet to finished my #6 book (why is it so darn hard to read books you actually own) then I'll move back to #1! I was just looking at that particular book on the weekend! Just looking though... 👀
Probably jinx myself!
