Ashley wrote: "I don't know. It just says "task" so that could just be 1 task, or it could mean in general!"Since she’s reiterated that it’s really hard a few times, I have a feeling it something relating to completing a lot of tasks? But I have no idea.
Here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...it says "Fast Forwards: A task that only one team may complete, allowing that team to skip all remaining tasks and head directly for the next Pit Stop. Teams may only claim one Fast Forward during the entire season."
Here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
it says "Fast Forwards: This will be a random secret task that will be available only once throughout the entire challenge. It will also be the hardest to complete. If a team completes it before or by check-in day, they will be awarded 100 bonus points. Again, only one team can win this opportunity."

Hm. Not a whole lot to work with. Lol. Any ideas? Maybe we can make a list of possibilities.
I feel like I've looked all over, so I'm not sure what to think. It doesn't seem like the tasks is hidden in the group somewhere... but I still might not have looked in the right place. I don't know how we can guess, lol!
Alaina wrote: "Not hidden. In plain sight. Just secretly works for the fast forward as well."AHHHH!!! I'm terrible at this!!!

hehehehe :)
This is probably REALLY out there (and WRONG), but what if we have to find a book that meets every task? That's too hard, right?

What if it’s something so obvious we are overlooking it?
Let’s start by trying to fill EVERY route task maybe?
Maybe we bypass doing spell out to try to fill every route info task?
I think we can rule out It being the spell out or detour.
What else can we rule out?
Amanda wrote: "what if it's like the whole team has to buddy read a book"This is an interesting idea, but It says "Intersections: This will be a buddy read related task. Meaning you will have to work with someone new (whether on your team or another) and read a book together."

It's got to be obvious and we're missing it.
Every route task is possible, but is that too easy?
Maybe we just have to complete the task that is the hardest? What do we think is the hardest task this week?
The Yield task seems impossible... maybe it's THAT task? Contains all of the 'Big Five' game animals and has the words 'WILDEBEEST' and 'MIGRATION' found in text (pg/% & quote)
Ashley wrote: "Maybe we just have to complete the task that is the hardest? What do we think is the hardest task this week?"the yield;
Read a book that contains all of the 'Big Five' game animals and has the words 'WILDEBEEST' and 'MIGRATION' found in text (pg/% & quote)
Haha! we are on the same page KADE... maybe we should just delete the messages so the other team doesn't guess!

id say the best bet to find a book that fits is an educational book rather than fiction. let me do some research.
In Africa, the Big Five game animals are the lion, leopard, black rhinoceros, African bush elephant, and African buffalo.so that plus wildebeest and migration.
Ashley wrote: "I wish I had an older kindle, so I could word search every book..."I'm working on that with some books i'm finding. ;}
these are some possibilites taht i can't find a searchable version of; https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

The first one works if you can read itETA: if anyone reads it I should be able to provide the locations/passages if we need them
Jammin Jenny wrote: "The first one works if you can read it"it has all the of the big 5 and the two other words? i can read i tif someone else can write down what pages each word i son an dsuch.
ohhh this book has them all.. but it has the elephant as "bush elephant" instead of "african bush elephant".
i can read it if as well..
this one has all the animals / words but without the descriptive part of them.. so it has elephant instead of bush elephant, and buffalo intead of african buffalo
Jammin Jenny wrote: "Yep all five and the other two words. I put them all down on our SS to try to keep it on the DL."kay i can read it if no one else can / wants to.
Seems like most of these are either out of print or unavailable, or $$$$$. Does anyone have any of these or access to them?
The yield task states:"The "Big Five" game animals of Africa, that is the lion, leopard, buffalo, rhinoceros, and elephant, "/i>
so I think we're fine with generic but whoever is going to read it needs to do it fast!!
Kade, if you can read it, go for it quick! We have to be the first to check it in, or we don't get the points!
Ashley wrote: "Seems like most of these are either out of print or unavailable, or $$$$$. Does anyone have any of these or access to them?"yeah, i have access to a site that has copies of almost every book imaginable and found it there.. ;x so ill start it.
i'll let ya'll know when i'm done and review it, and if someone can post it for me, i'd be grateful. i may be able to have it done super late tonight or early tomorrow.it's format is pretty easy to read quickly thankfully.

nothing like multiple pages about why animals have scrotums with plenty of photos of them. hahaha..
My GR time will be spotty today, so if you finish Kade, will you be able to post? I might if the timing is great, but I may end up not in front of a computer until later this evening.
I won’t bbe able to review for a little bit either way. I forgot about my appts today. 😂. So when I get home I’ll review and post.

Well, I can't really give you any hints other than something hard to complete. If no one reads for it this week, I will let you all know what it is on Saturday 6/17
