- The girls are sent a package and one the the sisters reads the book inside and falls into a coma, teleporting to medieval times.
- In said 'cult' one of the members is a young man that eventually tracks down the father's (which left) daughter, at a college, trying to flirt with her. They eventually go on a date, where he tries to get her to trust him.
- The sister that falls into a coma, teleports to medieval times, meeting a boy that sees her as a ghost, when nobody else can see her. The boy has an abusive father figure that traverses the town saying that the boy can kick evil spirits out of residences castles and home. When he meets her, she is in the garden of one of the homes that he is "kicking spirits out of" which is the entire ruse that his father figure does. She is very confused and sees him trying to talk to him, while he tries to ignore her.
- The other sister begins to figure out what's happening with her father and this cult, and they begin to search for it, eventually getting 'capturing' by the cult and the cult leader. The leader begins to convince them that its for the good.
- As the sister travels the medieval land, she follows the boy and they meet with a queen, which jails them.
I read it around 2012-2016 and I don't know when it was made.
English, present day in the book is 2000's
