YA Mystery (?) A girl is trying to track down a killer who is leaving clues in the newspaper. Read 2017-2019. Spoilers.

I read this book somewhere between 2017-2019. The main thing that I remember about the book is that main character was trying to track down a killer using clues that he had left in the newspaper. Other than that I don’t remember much, but there are two specific scenes that I vaguely remember.

1. They were at school for some kind of event and the girl goes into the empty room that the pool is is. I feel like someone’s might have been dead in there or the killer was in the room.
2. At the very end of the book they were in a trailer park and the girl finally found the killer, i think somebody died at the very end.
