Jenne, this is probably a dumb question but it is one I've been wondering about. In the picture of the spots the numbers have color.Does this mean if the book color can be that color. i.e. we landed on #12 it is purple. Can you read a book with a purple book cover?
The colored dots on the board are only for appearance. The only time you'll have a cover color option is if that space happens to have that as an alternate.Jamie Gr is being funky for me and not letting me enlarge that cover for some reason. I'll keep trying it throughout the night. In fact fixing to go try from my kindle instead.
Is anyone interested in being a sub player for Thursday's roll over on SSS?It would just be for the one roll and the review would need to be in on Saturday in time for the Sunday roll.
It's team BYOB, https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...That'll be this Thursday's roll for that game. Thanks again :)
Team 7 has lost a player. Jim is dropping out. We're the Seven Deadly Sins and I'm the de facto captain.

Here at Post Your Spot
This link should be on the very first post in your team thread as well.

I know this Ezi. I was wondering when, cause I'm sleeping when it's time to roll. So one of my teammate will roll tonight. Is it okay if I post our reviews tomorrow after the rolling??
Sadie wrote: "Stella, your reviews need to be in before your team can roll again, so I suggest getting them in once everyone has reviewed their book."
I think she meant "posting" the Team Post reviews, not that the individual reviews wouldn't be in on her team thread.

It's fine to post the team's reviews tracking post tomorrow. I won't even do mine till tomorrow either.
I have a question. What happens when not all the teammates put in their reviews by the deadline. Do we just roll the dice whenever they post their review and just have a shorter week to read our books or do we miss our turn for the week?
The goal is to have them in today, you do have Friday as a grace period. Come midnight tomorrow night if a review is missing you can't roll till the following week. This rarely happens though. I'll go take a peak at your thread. It's always a learning curve the first couple of weeks till you get to know your teammates reading habits.
"Teams will have a chance to earn 1 Free Pass to roll. To earn your free pass your team has to complete their reads a day before the next roll. Once your team has done this you will have 1 free pass. The free pass will allow a team to roll if they are missing a review(s) before the cutoff. The free pass may not be used for the win. Once you've used it, you can't earn another one. It's a one time shot."So...when is the deadline for posting the reviews for the free pass? I roll at midnight Friday, so it seems like the reviews should be up before midnight Thursday for the pass...if I'm understanding it.
I just wanted to check. It would be a nice thing to have!
Any team that had their reviews in last night by midnight earned their free pass. (only had to have them in on the team's thread, not posted in the post your spot thread). If a team didn't earn their free pass last week, you still can earn it in the future weeks.
I'll (hopefully today) be updating each team's post 1 with a free pass picture after it's earned.
Ok just went and looked, she can go ahead and just start this week, since we never heard from her until now. So just proceed like normal :)
I'm having a brain cramp. If we're on spot 11, that means 11th or 1st in series, right? Can it also mean Standalone?
Thanks!

But can Standalones be used for 1's?

I still don't know what I wanna read.

If I have a book that I plan on reviewing more in depth at a later date on my blog, will a mini-review in the meantime on Goodreads suffice for the challenge?
One of our team members ( team 11) has yet to post their review. I am assuming if we don't hear from them in the next 9 hours our team will not be able to roll this week? In this circumstance do we need to post that our team isn't rolling?
Double checking - we can still read the same book for SS and SSS if we haven't started until after SS is called? Thanks!
