Any ideas for team names?
hi there, team! I'm sorry for not checking in earlier, real life has been thoroughly kicking my ass for the past several days. things are looking up now, though, so I'm looking forward to getting the game rolling! I'm good with whatever name you decide, the suggestions all sound good. :)

We're starting tonight (well, tomorrow, but midnight is tonight to me), so everyone get ready!

Review: With the 5th book in the Guild Hunter series, Nalini Singh now turns her attention to Jason, the Archangel Raphael's spymaster who sticks to the shadows. Jason is sent to the court of the Archangel Neha after the murder of her consort. Jason must discover the killer, even as more bodies pile up. In the midst of his task, Jason also develops a relationship with Neha's niece that may break the emotional barriers he constructed as a child. There are also glimpses of the rest of the series regulars sprinkled throughout. This isn't really my genre, but I always seem to find the stories entertaining.
I'm going with the alternate, too. Reading Deadline by Craig McLay. (I'm using the app right now, so I can't put the link.) :)

Review: I started reading this series a week ago and I can't wait to read the next book. Before I started it. I read a review saying it was like Twilite on crack....lol And it is that good...
"Of course you know who I am. I'm a daughter of the darkness just as surely as you are his son..."
Ever since his brief encounter with Emilia at The Shade, Derek's thoughts and dreams have been haunted with images of the mysterious, beautiful brunette. Plagued with guilt, he struggles to understand why he is so drawn to this dark stranger from his past.
When Emilia suddenly appears again on the island, Derek is both terrified and intrigued. But this time, he is determined to involve Sofia and discover who this woman is.
If only Derek and Sofia knew, Emilia is a mystery that should be left undiscovered...

Review: Rereading this book again only after my initial read was amazing. I get to fall in love with the relationship between Tommy & Prophet. In this installment we are finally getting close to the mysterious John Morse. Prophet has moments on where his relationship with Tommy will be in future because of his illness. Little does he know Tommy is not going anywhere anytime soon. I love them together. It's hot, heavy and while it's not many I love you statements it's plenty of I love you moments.

Thanks Jenne!

No rolling tonight, I'll leave that to Theo for the morning since I'm going to be be busy in the morning.

Crosses fingers me to Theo.
So sorry about the delay!!

Review:
After the dismembered body of a young woman is found on the campus of Westhill college, an investigative reporter with the student newspaper begins to look into the case. With the help of a colleague, he uncovers a connection to a millenium-old cult and a modern conspiracy. Meanwhile, his investigation leads the cops to his door...
A decent, entertaining murder mystery. Colin's attitude, while not at all helpful for his situation, rarely failed to amuse. Only 3 stars, though, as the story never really gripped me.

Review: Artemis has turned a new leaf and decided to turn away from a life of crime to save the planet, but all is not well. He seems to have developed OCD and even multiple personalities, all part of a condition known as the Atlantis Complex in the fairy community. But before Holly and Foaly can confront Artemis about his issues, a hijacked space probe comes plummeting to earth. Our heroes must save an underwater community and figure out who's behind the attack before it's too late. Full of the humor you expect, and even a little romance, this is another solid entry to this series.

Review: It is rare that I give any book a 5 but this story is so believable and the chacaters grabbed me frtom the beginning...The only this I found bad about this series is.....the next book isn't out yet.....
Princess Marie-Victoria, heir to the Lily Throne, and Aelwyn Myrddn, bastard daughter of the Mage of England, grew up together. But who will rule, and who will serve?
Quiet and gentle, Marie has never lived up to the ambitions of her mother, Queen Eleanor the Second, Supreme Ruler of the Franco-British Empire. With the help of her Head Merlin, Emrys, Eleanor has maintained her stranglehold on the world's only source of magic. She rules the most powerful empire the world has ever seen.
But even with the aid of Emrys' magic, Eleanor's extended lifespan is nearing its end. The princess must marry and produce an heir or the Empire will be vulnerable to its greatest enemy, Prussia. The two kingdoms must unite to end the war, and the only solution is a match between Marie and Prince Leopold VII, heir to the Prussian throne. But Marie has always loved Gill, her childhood friend and soldier of the Queen's Guard.
Together, Marie and Aelwyn, a powerful magician in her own right, come up with a plan. Aelwyn will take on Marie's face, allowing the princess to escape with Gill and live the quiet life she's always wanted. And Aelwyn will get what she's always dreamed of--the chance to rule. But the court intrigue and hunger for power in Lenoran England run deeper than anyone could imagine. In the end, there is only rule that matters in Eleanor's court: trust no one.

Review: Hmm I like Angel Martinez writing style, I've had this book for years. I liked the couple in the book. I thought the book was so long winded that it made no sense for it to be that long. Some instances I found myself being bored with all the scientific terms. I liked Isaac and Turk together it made sense. I wish it could have focus just a tad more on them.

I can never say no to a newly discovered UF series promising action, a strong protagonist and a little bit of sexy times - the Sunwalker Saga has all of those on offer, combined with an all around great cast of characters and a fascinating supernatural Atlantean twist. The series is off to an extremely promising start - looking forward to seeing Morgan and friends kick more ass in the next part!
