What great choices you have, Rora. The 1970s is such a fun decade--I did it last year and could have easily run through it twice (in terms of having choices, not time).

message 9: by Rora (new)

Rora Thank you for your comments. I completed challenge 2 today, Le Morte D' Arthur was definitely a "long read".

Congratulations on finishing a challenge already, and a difficult one at that! Glad to see Le Morte D'Arthur got a 4-star rating, despite being so chunky.

Nice job on your Challenges so far. You have completed 6!! That's fast. I always have trouble knowing what to read for the Long Read in this category. I think your choice of Arthur tales looks like a good possibility.

The jousting parts were dull for me, but I enjoyed the rest of it. It was one of those books that I always meant to read since I like Arthurian legends, but never got around to it.
