Spellbound_Rose | 65 comments I do not remember the title at all, but I remember a decent amount the main character's name is Cecile, likely with an accent somewhere in the same. A lot of the book rotated around the Bastille prison. I believe the main character worked for the princess, who got very sick. The doctor's used leeches/cutting in order to heal her, but she died. Cecile and a number of the princess' ladies in waiting stayed locked in either the bathroom or the closet with her son while he was sick in order to prevent his death too. I remember only one quote from the book and this scene which I believe was "Madam, the fever has lifted or something very similar. Thank you! I last read this book around age 8-10, possibly eleven and I'v been trying to find it since.
