Evan is able to use René’s technology against him and escapes despite all of the security. Given how many times Evan had outwitted his measures to keep him captive, should René have known better?

Rene was too sure of himself to think he would lose. Personally, I felt like Hurwitz took the "almost" excapes too far. There was one or two too many, and I began to lose interest.

Yes, I read a lot of these parts by skimming, as I have the tech things that are words I can pronounce (but which I cannot put together in my brain to mean anything to me.)

Me too. I thought Evan almost escaping just to be caught over and over again was way over the top.

I agree with all of you. I just kind of felt like this part even though action packed and intense went on forever
