While in captivity, Evan finds his damaged phone where he repeatedly receives calls from a young boy needing help. Did you ever consider this to be a figment of his imagination or were you believing the calls were real?

[Sharon]

I believed he was getting real calls. I didn't know how his phone was still working because it seemed to be crushed. Then I thought he had some super military grade phone that managed to survive.

The reveal that it was his imagination shocked me.

[Robin]

I thought he was getting the calls, but I did wonder how that phone stayed charged for so long. I was wishing I had that model of phone.

It being a figment of Evan's imagination did not cross my mind.

[Charlene]

Same, Sharon and Robin.

Reality was certainly poignant, wasn't it?

I thought this was a boy out there needing his help.

It did make a strange sort of sense when we do find out for where his thoughts went. Took him back to when he was powerless as a boy.
