Rowiey | 133 comments Cheryl, rapunzel was a delightful little story!

For you I pick Sir Ladybug as it certainly looks interesting! I may just put it on my wishlist.

Next person please pick from; my kindle shelf.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Rowiey, Sir Ladybug is delightful, and smart, too. I recommend it.

Green Glass Beads: Poems for Girls looks interesting. I hope you are ready for some poetry!

Next person pick from here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list... (randomly is fine)

Pony Xaviors (ponyxaviors) | 619 comments Cheryl - I really enjoyed The Hobbit! It was fun and adventurous. Thank you for the pick. I read it for the House Cup Challenge, which was perfect since this year's theme is Hobbits!

Your link is just going to your page in general, so I'm not positive which shelf you'd like me to pick from. If the regular Want To Read shelf is okay, then for your next read I choose Little Karin. It sounds like a sweet, little story.

Whoever chooses for me, please pick from this shelf.

Cheryl (cherylllr) Oops. I do not have access to Little Karin. My link should have gone to my 'on-deck' shelf. Try this, please:

A little hiccup....To avoid confusion, here's the plan.
Pony, please re-pick for Cheryl, per above message.
Next person, please pick for Pony to continue the relay.
Thank you!

Alright, that link worked! In that case, I choose Endangered Phrases: Intriguing Idioms Dangerously Close to Extinction, because we need to save the endangered phrases! lol

Whoever chooses for me, please pick from this shelf.

Lina | 182 comments Miriam, thank you for picking Frankenstein for me -
I am very glad I finally picked the book up after having had it on my tbr for a while - and I did enjoy reading it! If you ever pick it up and want to discuss let me know!
And you were right, it really fits well into this time of year (I also read Dracula last month, and many gloomy short stories for the House Cup Challenge!)

Pony, for you I pick To Kill a Mockingbird - which I would highly recommend! I will be looking forward to hearing what you think! If you like the book, the movie from 1962 (which seems to be available for free online) is very much worth it as well!

Whoever picks for me, please pick from my want to read-list. Thanks! :)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) | 5 comments Lina for you I'm picking Norse Mythology I gave this 5 stars

Can whoever please pick from https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

message 109: by Miriam (new)

Miriam (riareadstoomuch) | 216 comments Thank you Rowiey for picking Anne of Avonlea for me! I enjoyed it just as much as I enjoyed the first book :)

Carrie, for you I chose Recursion. I'm not a big fan of science-fiction myself, but this sounds super interesting. Definitely putting it on my TBR, too!

To the next person: Please pick from my up-next-list.

Rowiey | 133 comments Cheryl, I think its safe to say that I'm not a poetry lover.... I'll keep tackling the book but i dont understand half of it and it is certainly not something I can binge read!

Miriam, I'm glad you enjoyed Anne of Avonlea, I choose I'm Glad My Mom Died for your next read as I've heard it's a good book.

Next person please pick from; Pick It For Me

message 111: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) I am ready for a new book.

Rowiey, I choose for you Novel Intentions as it's got such a high community rating.

Please, next person, pick from my 'on-deck' shelf: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

Great choice, Lina! I very much enjoyed To Kill a Mockingbird and am really glad I've finally gotten it read after having it on my TBR for so long. It turned out I had no idea what the book was actually about 😂 I had a good time finding out, though. I'll have to watch the movie you recommended as well!

Cheryl wrote: "Please, next person, pick from my 'on-deck' shelf... "

Cheryl, I'm choosing Echo Boy for your next read. I've never read it, but it sounds really engaging.

Whoever chooses for me, please pick from this shelf.

Lina | 182 comments Carrie, thanks for picking Norse Mythology for me! I enjoyed it a lot - and have no idea why its been sitting on my shelf for so long ... even though I love both Neil Gaimans books and Mythology. Glad you made me finally pick it up :)

Pony, I am glad you enjoyed To Kill a Mockingbird - even though it wasnt what you were expecting :)
For your next read, I pick The Fellowship of the Ring, because going on a journey in Middlearth sounds like a good way to start off the new year!
(Happy New Year 2024 to everyone by the way!)
I am looking forward to hearing what you think (it has been a very long time since I read those books - I am looking forward to a reread at some point soon)

Whoever picks for me, please pick from my want to read-list. Thanks! :)
