Is perfect when you want a heart warming mystery. My 4.5 star review:

In this dual timeline story, Sara Glikman and her granddaughter Abby both feel compelled to match people with their bashert (the Jewish term for soulmate). Set in New York City.
Good story with interesting characters. 4 stars

Fun lightweight mystery set in the world of comic books creation and publishing in New York 1948. I liked it, 3 stars.

Hey everyone,
I've just tried to post a new thread for the June nominations, and I'm getting the same weirdness as I got yesterday (a bizarre message) telling me that the page is not found. This is exactly what popped up when I started a new topic:
"Yarr, the page you requested can’t be charted on any known map.
“t would be a lot quicker than that if we could just sail straight there, but I was looking at the nautical charts, and there’s a dirty great sea serpent right in the middle of the ocean!
FitzRoy frowned. “I think they just draw those on maps to add a bit of decoration. It doesn’t actually mean there’s a sea serpent there.”
The galley went rather quiet. A few of the pirate crew stared intently out of the portholes, embarrassed at their Captain’s mistake. But to everyone’s relief, instead of running somebody through, the Pirate Captain just narrowed his eyes thoughtfully.
“That explains a lot,” he said. “I suppose it’s also why we’ve never glimpsed that giant compass in the corner of the Atlantic. I have to say, I’m a little disappointed.”
— Gideon Defoe, The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists
I have to say that this is driving me insane. It may be a bit late but I've been with support on this for two days now so we'll see what happens.
Sorry -- but this is waaaaay out of my control.

Heist, lost treasure, Cherokee, Map and search for the lost looted treasure.
A 4 star reading.

This series was continued by Robert Goldsborough after the death of Rex Stout. In this book, Nero Wolfe and his sidekick Archie investigate the death of a politician.
I always enjoy reading about favorite characters in this series but the plot rates 3 stars

I love that story too - in particular that twist at the end!

Stephanie Plum #16. I've been enjoying this series but this effort seems to me to be the weakest so far. Stephanie, Lula, and the gang (now including Grandma and a horse) go to Atlantic City. Kidnapping, horsenapping, arson and other craziness ensue. Sounds funnier than it is. 2 stars.

I've finished reading Grey Bees by Andrey Kurkov, a novel about people caught up in the war in Ukraine. So very good.

This fourth book in the series is very enjoyable. Can be read as a stand alone too. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

In this fun novel set in Florida, various people are looking for buried gold while a video of the elusive Everglades Melon Monster goes viral.
You can always count on Dave Barry for laughs. 3.5 stars
