The first time I read this in 2018, I was barely able to follow the book. I think I was "over" the world building. 2nd time around I was able to follow it a little better, mostly because of the Amazon Prime show. THAT really brought it to life for me. Moiraine, an Aes Sedai, comes to a village to take Rand for him to eventually fight the Dark One. *** 11/12/23
