Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney finished 26/2/23 3⭐

Yes, I can't find it when doing it the normal way I put the title in and 100 pages of them come up and I can't find it in there and if I go via the author name I can't pick Catherine Jones up to search :(
I'll tell you a way to do it. Seeing as it's beside your review, click on the cover pic, then use the ISBN/ASIN which is showing for the book, and search that way :) This new system makes it all that much more work!

The better one was Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz 5* - highly recommended.
The Golden Rendezvous by Alistair MacLean 4* was a well paced thriller but followed the authors fairly standard set-up to a tee!

✔BOOK - Midwife on the Orient Express: A Christmas Miracle by Fiona McArthur AA....3* 04/03/23
✔AUTHOR - Lily Malone -The Vet's Country Holiday AA....3.5* 07/03/23

Wasn't there a movie with the same title?

Yeah, silly thing with Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey.
The title would be pretty common though; I had to add the author's name when I searched on the book to add it to this thread after all.
Anything with 'gold' in the title would have worked though. The setting, in a gold field with 'gold police', was probably the best thing about the book.

Thank you Brenda, finished my 2 choices nice and early for a change 😉
