Drive

Which are both prequels & historical set-up novellas.

Hello guys! Quite late, I know, but the library hold took a long time. I also have book two at hand so I can read them back to back and then hopefully book three will be available

I read the first two books, I think, three or so years ago so I only remember the important bits and even then they are quite fuzzy. I also watched the TV series and quite like it. All of you talking about it has made me want to rewatch it again sometime

(view spoiler)[I forgot how it all started, with holden broadcasting everything everywhere. And how everyone is panicking because of the upcoming war with Mars. And all the racism. Holden is too honest and that's going to be a problem (it already is). But he has Naomi, who is great, to give him advice. At the moment from the Rocinante crew my favourites are Holden and Naomi

Miller and his whole detective angle is also quite interesting, especially since we see another POV, a belter, in contrast with Holden POV. Him more cynic and Holden more idealistic (hide spoiler)]

That's the best way to read a series haha. I wasn't planning on starting The Expanse again but seeing this BR I had the sudden urge. And now it's happening again with Wars of Light and Shadow even when I am horribly behind everything nowadays. Like when you buy shiny new books and read then before the old ones

It was also funny when Miller wanted to enter Julie's room with stealth and Holden just knocks on the door and Naomi was like 'he does this all the time' Such a contrast between both pov and I like it (hide spoiler)]
