SOLVED. Children's Horror stories. Mouse suicide with knife. [s]

When I was quite young I remember reading a story where a character tells another how to kill mice. This was probably between 2009 and 2015. A loaf of bread was put down with a knife sticking out, and the mice would come along and slice their own heads off. I was so horrified as a child it has stayed with me ever since!

I always thought it was a Roald Dahl story maybe? I can't remember anything else about the book or story except it was a man relating the information to a younger person.

Any ideas appreciated!

SOLVED! It's called The Loaf and the Knife and is a short story by Michael Rosen in a collection called Nasty. Thank you anyway guys :)
