January - June Mishmash Challenge


The challenge runs from January 01, 2023 - June 30, 2023.
To complete this challenge, complete 12 of the tasks below.
A book may only be used once, minimum 120 pages
Rereads are allowed.
You may use books you read for other challenges. Any format is acceptable - paper, audio and ebooks.

Choose any 12 of the tasks to complete the challenge. (But you are welcome to complete all 15 of the tasks!).

1. Read a collection of short stories.
2. Read a first in a series.
3. Read a book that was published anonymously.
4. Read a book by an author born in Oceania.
5. Read a book with a mode of transport on the cover.
6. Read a book with a proper place name in the title.
7. Read a play (no page limit).
8. Read a memoir, biography or autobiography.
9. Read a book with a child as a protagonist.
10. Read a book published between 1950-1999.
11. Read a book that involves a fairy tale/myth/fable or retelling of one.
12. Read a book that involves travel e.g. road trip, cruise ship, train ride, etc.
13. Read a book set in summer.
14. Read a book with autumn colours on the cover - red/yellow/brown/orange.
15. Read a book that involves the arts e.g. an painter, sculptor, actor, musician, etc.
