NOS4A2 by Joe Hill. I'm (finally) reading it and was confused at first by the location changes coinciding with what looked like chapter chnages so it took me a second figure that out.
I used the "look inside" feature on Amazon to check out options from my TBR. The Only Good Indians and My Heart Is a Chainsaw seemed to fit.
I’m going to continue with NOS4A2. I’ve been trying to read it over Christmas, but it hasn’t happened. So, I’ll stick with it just to finally finish it.
I'm in the middle of NOS4A2. What a trip! Impressed by its breadth but don't love it yet.I just read Mary by Nat Cassidy. WOW. Nothing like it (at least, not that I've encountered). Really recommend. Great woman horror (written by a man) that stars a woman nearing 50... Chapter One is "Text Book," as in don't dare think you're special.
Reading “Mary: An Awakening of Terror” by Nat Cassidy. I didn’t know it would have chapters with names but it does, so ✅!
I was going to score it for 2023 book, but Don't Fear the Reaper has such great chapter titles (named after slasher movies) that I couldn't resist using it for this category.
I read Penpal by Dathan Auerbach and gave it 5 stars.I could not put this book down! The way we think we know what's going to happen but the author continues to feed us breadcrumbs until you realize you've been sitting there reading cover to cover, desperate to piece it all together. A wild horror/thriller romp.
